My atseoul.com order arrived today and I'm really excited, so I've decided to share my haul here. This is not a review, but just a post to show you what goodies I got. I won't be showing everything up-close, just the extra cute ones. However, if you'd like to know more about any of the items, just drop me a comment and I'd do a proper post.
Guess what this little guy does?

Today I'm going to share with you my humble collection of rings. It's not much at the moment, but I've only started collecting them 2 years ago.
If you'd known me a couple of years back, you'd never catch me buying rings. I used to hate wearing rings. I think this stemmed from several (highly embarrasing)experiences of trying on too-tight rings and having trouble removing them. Mind, these happened in stores (sometimes, in front of sales staff) and I'd stand there absolutely mortified with unpleasant images (like I'd have to wear it for the rest of my life!) flashing through my mind. I would stand there twisting and tugging and when it finally set me free, I'd walk quickly out of the store with what ever dignity I have left.
Now, I've finally accepted the fact that I've chubby fingers and only try on rings that are a bit loose. In fact, I like to wear all my rings a little bit loose because I still don't really like the tightness around my fingers.
I'm glad I feel more comfortable wearing rings now because it's such a great way to spice up an outfit. Also, rings are so easy to slip on as I'm running out the door.
As you can see, I don't spend a ton on rings and get most of mine from high street stores. I avoid buying online as it's always a gamble on the fitting, but if I really like it, then I'd get the bigger sizes or choose the ones that are adjustable.
Tip: If you've a ring that is much too loose, just brush on a few coats of clear nail varnish on the inside of the ring. Just be sure to let each layer dry completely before piling on the layers.

Despite the snow (yes, we had a bit of random February snow), there was a very good turn out at the fair. In true British style, there was a tea party going on in full swing in one corner. People were nibbling on cupcakes and sipping tea out of china teacups; the proper way.
The only thing I purchased from the fair was this beautiful Halina Paulette Electric camera. I saw it sitting there amongst some accessories and felt as if I had to buy it immediately despite not knowing how the thing works. It wasn't expensive for a vintage (Google tells me this is from the 60s! Awesome!) camera, but I was rather skint after a bout of online shopping in January *shifty eyes*.
I was debating on whether to buy it or not simply because the seller wasn't a camera enthuasist and didn't seem to know much about it either (or whether it was even functioning properly!). I didn't want to pay for a broken thing. The rational side of me told me to put it down, but my hands just wouldn't let go. In the end, my boyfriend paid for it as an early birthday present. Yay!

Convertible dresses are such a good investment. You're essentially getting multiple dresses for the price of one! Now if that's not smart shopping, I don't know what is. Even your partner who's slightly concerned about your spending habits will have to (grudgingly)admit that it is a good buy.
There are roughly 10 ways (if you're really creative, you can get way more than that) of wearing the dress; one-strapped, off-shouldered, strapless, halter etc. It all depends on how you twist, knot and tie the two long straps.
My version is ruched and is made from a lovely matte-jersey material. I wore it for the first time last night to a friend's birthday party and had fun playing with the straps. I finally settled for this and pinned the straps in place with this pretty peacock brooch with rhinestones. I got this when I went back to Malaysia and stuffed it amongst my many accessories when I got back which explains why the peacock feather looks so weird. Oops...
P/S: I'm sorry about the quality of the first two pics. I was trying to find a camera setting that would best capture the ruche detail on my dress. I should have kept trying, but it was really late and I was really tired, so I didn't feel like standing there all night. I need a new camera.

Once Upon a Time necklace: Dorothy Perkins
Here's a clearer picture of my knuckle duster. It's my very first 3-finger ring and I'm absolutely in love with it! It's currently one of my favourites.

I love Portobello Market. You can find such good vintage items there. I was rummaging through a humongous pile of vintage jewellery on one of the street stalls when I found this stone bib necklace. I nabbed it immediately. The stones are really pretty in real life and the ribbon cord means I can adjust it to whatever length I fancy.
I dressed it down with a simple white tee today, but I'm sure it would look good with a dress on a night out.

This is the kind of outfit I usually wear to class. My lazy outfit, I call it. Just pull on a jumper and some jeans and I'm good to go. Most days, I don't even accessorize. I wore this particular jumper way too much last semester. I am pretty sure my classmates think I don't shower. Hopefully, by starting this blog, I'll put a bit more thought into things I wear to Uni.

Ring: Antiques (Local vintage store)
Draped wrap skirt: Blogshop
Ribbon tights: Primark
Black Swan is definitely one of the better psycho-thrillers I have seen. It's beautiful, but horrifying at the same time. There were a bit too many cringe-inducing scenes for my liking and I admit I used the "peek through my fingers because it's less scary that way" technique a lot. Still, that did not stop me from taking note of the costumes.
[Pic credit: IMDB]
I also like this pale pink shrug she wore in several scenes. It made her arms look very swan-like. And there it is again, the one leg warmer, worn over white tights. I think the wispy wrap skirt completes the outfit to make her the graceful white swan that she is. This outfit was actually my favourite out of the bunch.
Will this bring about a trend of ballerina-inspired outfits?

Modern cheongsam/qi pao (Chinese dress): Blogshop
Black lace necklace: Blogshop
Red roses clutch: H&M
This is a Chinese dress with a modern twist. It's pink with black flower pattern mesh overlay and has a panel of sheer black mesh at the back. I chose to wear it with a pair of black tights so I wouldn't freeze my tush off while walking to meet my friends for a CNY meal.
The meal was great, but I had a protuding belly by the end of the night.
