This gorgeous Topshop shirt (which I scored on eBay for less than half its original price) is everything I want in a shirt; sheer, comfy and interesting. The material is so soft and flowy, it really is very comfortable to wear. And isn't the lace trim detail at the back just lovely? The shirt is also actually shorter in the front than it is in the back. What interesting cuts.
Speaking of the lace detail, it was quite awkward trying to take a picture of the back of the shirt. Anyone peering through my window would have thought me quite mad. I'd have to prop my camera on the tripod, set the timer, then race to the front to face the wall as the timer counts down. So, it's like, "Hmm...nice wall" *tick*tick* "Very white" *tick*tick*...
And I couldn't just do it once. Oh no, it took me at least 5 shots before I found a decent one -.-
The weather has been quite good here and when the weather's good, the BBQ grill comes out. Have been to a few BBQs already and am actually getting a bit sick of it, to be honest. The smoke makes me really uncomfortable. But mainly, I dislike waiting around for food. However, certain BBQ etiquette dictates that thou shalt not go for thy second round until everyone else has had a piece of chicken wing. I'm more of a buffet kind of girl. Lay out all the food and pile it on my plate thankyouverymuch.
It's a nice way to chill with friends, though. I always come back from BBQs with an empty tummy, but a much bigger smile.

i like the idea of having bbq food,like those bbq-ed before i arrive lol. other than that,nope,i hate waiting,i hate raw chicken and i hate burnt chicken,and it makes my hair smelly. i can't deny the fun thou,a great way to hang out with friends. and the white top of yours is lovely! its such an interesting cut! <3 please do drink lots of water! from all the bbq XD

ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sorry to hear about your mom's old clothes! My mom has a tendency to keep things for ever (haha) so I recently rescued a few items she had in storage. Of course, some of the items need serious reworking if I were to wear them!
I like BBQ's because they are the summer get-together, but I agree with you about the smoke. I'm doing well, and I hope you are too! <3

Oh and I love bbqs :) asian style more than western style. I'm from hong kong so we stick the food on these giant trident fork things and cook it over a charcoal fire :D it's reallly nice but time consuming! makes me want to have some now. haha

That top is amazing and finding it on ebay much cheaper ALWAYS is so exciting!! Its funny when you think of all these sophisticated pictures on self timer..I mean we must look like tools doing them....posing for what feels like an eternity waiting for the timer to go off. haha. I was in my yard once posing and this guy walked past my fence and im here grinning likea fool at the camera feeling like a big ego maniac HAHAHA oh well. :) Im rambling a bit. I love BBQs but only my family ones but that takes me about 15 years ago in grandmas backyard.
