Bloggers Do It Better...Arm Party

According to the very pretty Kristina at Pretty Shiny Sparkly,
"Bloggers Do It Better is a movement. An initiative to showcase real girls, with real style, wearing real trends. Think of it as inspiration from the girl next door."

I have been reading her blog for quite a while now and have always been interested in her Bloggers Do It Better blog project. However, for one reason or another, I always seem to miss the deadlines for these fun fashion assignments. Nevertheless, I always had fun checking out the contributions from other bloggers. I keep telling myself that I'll definitely participate in the next one, though. Finally, here I am, participating in the 6th installment, Arm Party!

So apparently, the term 'arm party' was coined by The Man Repeller. I do think that's such a clever term. I used to work with a girl who always had tons of bracelets up her arm and I quite admire her for it. I don't usually stack up my arm jewellery (though I do it a lot with rings), but I think I quite like it now and would definitely do it more in the future.

Well, as you can see, mine's more of an afternoon tea party. Yes, it's not the strobe lights, free flow of alcohol and heart-pounding kind of party, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun. The floral fabrics, the soft, pale colours and the elegance of gold are great...but what's a party without a few studs, eyh? *wink*
