How many of you dislike looking at pictures of food on blogs? It's okay, you can be honest. I know of people who absolutely hate it because they feel it serves no purpose other than to make them extremely hungry and if the dish is unavailable where they live, they get even more annoyed.
I used to be one of those people, but I've learned to appreciate well-taken food pics. If done right, the pictures can turn out really good. I now really enjoy looking at food pics, but only if they are bright, clear and taken from a good angle. I especially love looking at pictures of desserts because they look so colourful and cute!
I, myself, have also started to take pictures of the food I eat and find that it's quite an enjoyable process. I am still learning, but I like sharing my food pics on iPhone apps like Instagram, Platter or Foodspotting.
Anywayz, the food pics below were taken during my last trip in Singapore. I have been to Singapore n times, so obviously I didn't take any tourist-y pics. However, if you guys are interested, I'll try to remember to snap some the next time I go.

To me, i love looking at well taken food photos. They look somewhat artistic and did i mention "delicious"? Even though they make my stomach growling, i learn about new food and what people eat in different countries too.

ReplyDelete*raises hand* I'm someone who doesn't like too much food photos hahahaha just because the photos often make the food not look so appetizing but I really appreciate nice food porn and I don't mind food photos but don't like it when a post is littered with them. Especially if the blog is not a food blog! That said you've really got me craving takoyaki and the sad thing is that I have some frozen ones in the freezer right now but no okonomiyaki sauce!!! Ugh!!!

I remember I went to Singapore once about 10 years ago. I loved it for the most part. I just don't remember much, only that a lot of people spoke my native language, and that was so awesome! Also I love your food pictures, they are looking really good Joey! Also, I love seeing exotic/food that is different from what I normally eat, it's very interesting!

I actually do like food posts. The only time it would bug me is if the pictures are all of food I don't particularly like, and then I don't know how to comment hahaha. But it seems that you always post the yummiest food (both sweet and savoury) so I appreciate your pictures all the time haha! all the desserts are super scrumptious in this post >_<
