My last post was about what I wore to my pre-birthday dinner, so it would only make sense to show you what I wore on my actual birthday. In comparison, I was much more toned down due to 2 reasons:
1) It was a family affair
2) I needed to wear something loose and comfortable because we were going for a Japanese buffet!
Enjoy the food pics!
Sushi |
A delectable assortment of sushi.
Sashimi |
Fresh sashimi that is constantly topped up.
The first plate I took |
I know that eating too much sushi fills you up, but how could I resist?
Fresh oysters |
Unlimited supply of fresh oysters, but means nothing to me because I don't like them slimey things.
Teppanyaki |
You could select whatever vegetables you want and they would grill it for you on the spot.
Scallops, soft-shelled crab and sashimi |
I love soft-shelled crabs!
K-ki |
Haha my cousin nieces and nephews took some little cakes and ice cream, arranged them as above and presented it to me for my birthday haha
Honeydew milk |
Mango pudding |
Hehe it's a necklace, but thanks :D

Happy Birthday!! This meal looks awesome and your little cousins were cute with their "homemade cake." You definitely can't wear tight clothes or cinched belts to all you can eat buffets, ;) I'm glad you planned ahead!

OMG! This looks so yummy! Give me your mango pudding!
ReplyDeleteThat fresh fish looks so amazing. I'm in a rut about what to have to dinner and it is just all too tempting.
ReplyDeleteThe sushi/japanese buffet over there is soooo much better than here! We don't get fresh oysters or a teppanyaki grill area and don't even get me started on asian desserts, we usually only have the options of bland mango pudding or sour oranges =( I want to go back to asia to eat but first I need to lose ten pounds so I can gain it back over there hahaha
ReplyDeleteAs for my bag, it's actually a limited edition released in Nov =) Do I suspect it won't be as popular as the regular patterned neverfulls.
I really like your vintage bag!
ReplyDeleteMmm so much yummy food! I'm craving sea food and that Honey dew milk dessert looks delicious!!!
cute outfit! I love the sweater and skirt color. and i just adore that black bow!!! <3
