It does what it says on the tin, but I am not too satisfied with the colour. It's supposed to be a bronze-y, gold colour, but I think it just looks like I have dirty nail tips from certain angles. I might use these nail polishes separately instead. The glitter is actually quite pretty.
It's actually really easy to just use some your existing nail polishes to create this effect. However, their colour-sets make it easier to create the gradient effect for someone as lazy as me.
This was a gift from a friend, but if you're interested, you can get it from Sasa.
Omg I saw this on sale when I was in Hong Kong I soooo regret not buying it now!! >.< Its so pretty.... despite the colour =p

I love the gradient effect but I'm too lazy to get out a sponge and do it manually lol. hmm maybe if this set came in a different colour besides yellow, then it wouldn't look like you had dirty nail tips. Or maybe make a couple more applications of one of the colours to make it pop out more? haha I'm not sure :P
ReplyDeleteOMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG gradient glitter nails in a kit! that is so cool!! but i would agree.. it's not as gold as i was hoping from the bottle :p but this idea is so cool.. i'm going to taiwan next month i'm so going to see if i can find this in other colors!!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you bought the tip color,maybe another layer of it? would that make any difference? I think if its a light layer of that color it does look like yellowed nails at some angle. I love the glitter too :D

ReplyDeleteThey seem lovely but I agree with you about the tips... this would probably look better over a pink polish instead... this definitely is nice if you want a whimsical, girly or even fairytale-like look for your nails.
I bet they're great paired with other polishes and not with each other :)
