Pretty good, eyh? EYH? Hehe...I thought I should at least get an A for Effort, but unfortunately, some of the British school uniforms look like this, so I don't think anyone (besides the few people in the cinema) knew I was dressed up as Tintin. Sighhh...
Now I think, I THINK, that some random guy walked by and asked really loudly, "Is that a school uniform?????" as if it was the most incredulous thing he'd ever seen (someone walking around a shopping mall in a school uniform) pffttt...

The movie was actually pretty fun. Definitely elicited quite a lot of laughter from us...or maybe we're just easily amused :)
Any-jimmy-who, can you believe the cinema did not have a single Tintin poster, much less a cardboard cut-out of the famous journalist? I was so looking forward to taking a photograph with it. What was the whole point of dressing up again?
Look what I had to resort to, a Tintin sticker in front of the GAP store. Times are hard...
So a spot of shopping at Primark saw me bringing these home. I couldn't put down the accessories. I mean, look at that pretty cameo! The studded bangles were reduced to a pound, so it'd be silly not to pick those up. The top! Have you seen the peter pan collar and the black ribbon? And the cross necklace? Well, I just had to have it!
There, I hope this outfit + shopping haul post would save my blog from becoming a permanent travel blog. Not that I don't like writing about my travels. I am glad that you guys enjoy reading about my trips, actually, because I was initially afraid it'd bore people. So, thanks for reading! xx

ReplyDeleteI loooooooooooooooooove Tintin! I'm glad it was good, I've been so worried that it wouldn't be and that'd be the end of Tintin in cinema. I have a dog that would be the perfect Snowy -- maybe next time you dress up, you can borrow her! :P
