H&M shopping haul

It's been quite a while since I properly went shopping, so the weekend just passed saw me making not one, but two trips to the high street. Though I walked around for quite some time on both days, I always ended up at H&M. I got the first 4 items on the first day, but feeling dissatisfied and after some mulling over the stuff I returned to the racks, I went back again the next day. Here's my little H&M haul.

2 pairs of skirts, a pair of thigh-high socks (fingers crossed these are non-slip) and the most comfortable pair of paperbag trousers I've ever worn! Seriously, these trousers are sooo soft and comfy, but the best thing is, the length is perfect! I always have trouble buying trousers or jeans because they're always too long, so to find this pair (and in a shade that's suited for autumn) is great!

The top I basically grabbed without thinking just so I could try on with the skirts and the trousers to see how they would look with a basic tee. Since I didn't need any more tops, I didn't get it...only to return the following day to pick it up haha. I'm not even a fan of the Beatles, but I thought the top looked pretty cute and the material is very light.

I have been seeing quite a lot of the elbow patch trend lately and H&M had some really cute cardis and jumpers with elbow patches on. And they come in a wide array of colours, too. I was choosing between this grey one and the red one, but being my boring self, I went with the "safer" colour. I was actually hoping they would have colours like maroon or mustard because I think those colours are pretty awesome for A/W '11. I've seen those colours appear in magazines like Vivi and Popsister, so was looking to pick some up. Oh well, the hunt continues...

Anywayz, that concludes my frivolous shopping post.

  23. H&M again! They're everywhere. lol... No doubt about that coz their clothes are affordable and stylish. I would love to see you model these clothes. Almost every fashion conscious Singaporean is crazy over our newly-opened H&M. The 1st ever in Singapore... yeah it took a long time to come here eh? But I've yet to visit that place myself. I guess I would go to HK to stock up on some H&M buys in about a week's time.

  25. JOEY!!!!!! THIS HAUL IS AMAZING. If you ever get sick of the pieces, send them my way. LOL.

The Beatles T, for me, is probably the best purchase out of the entire bunch, though I adore the polka dot skirt and the paperbag trousers. I always have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of paperbag trousers, but now that I'll be in Hawaii, I guess wearing trousers is kind of... out of the question. :)

    LOVE THIS HAUL.
