Hong Kong (Part 3)

Happy Chinese New Year!
Selamat Tahun Baru Cina!
Gong hei fatt choi!
Gong xi fa cai!
Kiong hee huat tsai!

There, 5 wishes in different languages/dialects for each day of the new Year of the Dragon.

This will be my final post on Hong Kong. It was certainly great to re-visit this place even though it was much more congested and polluted than I remembered it to be. I hope I'll be able to visit again some day!

By the way, I'm sorry I wasn't able to thank everyone in my last post as it was scheduled in advance. So here's a huge THANK YOU to everyone who congratulated me on my graduation be it via comments, emails or Twitter. It truly meant a lot!

I am now back in Malaysia and won't be going anywhere in the near future, so I'll be catching up on comments and eagerly bloghop.

See you at your blogs! xx

  1. Yum! I love the HK egg waffles! Looks like you had an amazing time in HK, I miss it so much. Yeah it's pretty polluted to be honest but it's something you get used to after a while. Glad you had a great time!

  14. The first photo is really pretty! I love how the lanterns look so bold in the picture :) The food looks delicious too - except for those dried up seahorses....I've seen them being sold in Chinese herbal stores but I never knew what they were used for .__.

  22. Yummy! Street food, dang now I miss milk tea and the waffles you could get while just wondering around and shopping. I also visited that star walk in the first photo, we took pictures with the Jackie Chan hand prints. Ah definitely wishing we could have seen more and seeing your foodie pictures makes me realize how much food I didn't get to try.
