Sexy Look Hello Kitty Mask review

So I got these Hello Kitty facial sheet masks by Sexy Look (what a brand name, I know) when I was in Hong Kong over the Christmas holidays. I have finally used up both boxes of masks and can now finally review them.

How I use it:
1) Cleanse face
2) Apply sheet mask for 15-20 minutes
3) Remove sheet mask
4) Gently massage the remaining essence on my face until fully absorbed
5) Apply moisturiser to seal in the essence
6) Use the sheet mask to give my arms and legs a wipe

To be very honest, I didn't see a difference between both masks, so I've lumped the review together.

Pros:
Adorable packaging! Haha...okay, that wasn't really important.

It's quite moisturising and hydrates my skin quite well, if only temporarily.

After removing the mask, I massage the leftover essence into my skin and it absorbs pretty quickly and doesn't leave a sticky feeling.

No break outs.

Cons:
I am not sure about the brightening effects. The immediate effects are definitely not as obvious as other masks I have used.

The mask is extremely wet, like literally dripping wet, so the essence actually drips when I have it on my face and can be quite messy.

I don't like the scent of these masks. I don't really know how to describe it, but it smells like grocery-store bar soap.

How cute are the Hello Kitty diagrams?

Overall, I'm not a fan of these masks. Sure, they are uber cute and I'm a total sucker for cute packaging, but I wouldn't be purchasing these again. I don't think I saw any difference in my skin after using up all the masks (each box actually has 5 sheet masks, but I gave 2 away).
