Today I'm going to share with you my humble collection of rings. It's not much at the moment, but I've only started collecting them 2 years ago.
If you'd known me a couple of years back, you'd never catch me buying rings. I used to hate wearing rings. I think this stemmed from several (highly embarrasing)experiences of trying on too-tight rings and having trouble removing them. Mind, these happened in stores (sometimes, in front of sales staff) and I'd stand there absolutely mortified with unpleasant images (like I'd have to wear it for the rest of my life!) flashing through my mind. I would stand there twisting and tugging and when it finally set me free, I'd walk quickly out of the store with what ever dignity I have left.
Now, I've finally accepted the fact that I've chubby fingers and only try on rings that are a bit loose. In fact, I like to wear all my rings a little bit loose because I still don't really like the tightness around my fingers.
I'm glad I feel more comfortable wearing rings now because it's such a great way to spice up an outfit. Also, rings are so easy to slip on as I'm running out the door.
As you can see, I don't spend a ton on rings and get most of mine from high street stores. I avoid buying online as it's always a gamble on the fitting, but if I really like it, then I'd get the bigger sizes or choose the ones that are adjustable.
Tip: If you've a ring that is much too loose, just brush on a few coats of clear nail varnish on the inside of the ring. Just be sure to let each layer dry completely before piling on the layers.
Your ring collection is stunning! I love the owl one from H&M and those Primark ring designs are super cute as well. Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteHey girl! Thanks so much for linking to your rings! They are amazing. I only own like 4 rings. I was like you, I hated wearing rings, one because after awhile they annoyed me being on my finger, and then I always bought cheaper rings so they would tarnish and not look cute anymore so I stopped buying. But I've been more into rings now after following some blogs were people have amazing ones. I really like your choice of bow rings! I need to get a few of those.
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge Harry Potter fan!!! I love the books better than the movies, the movies are ok, and I'll still be sad to see it end. I was at the midnight showing of the last few Harry Potter movies! Haha. What about you? Which one do you like better?
