K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo eyeliner

Disclosure: The K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo eyeliner was sponsored by Beauty Carousel, but this review is written based on my honest opinions.

I personally thought K-Palette was very bold in making claims like waterproof, non-smudge, real lasting, 24 hours etc., basically everything you'd want in an eyeliner, yes?

To put it to the test, I drew a line on my hand and ran my hand under warm water. It didn't fade at all! I was well impressed, but how would it fare on my eyelids?

Made in Japan, the eyeliner comes with a patented micro-fiber fine brush tip which makes it easy to draw and offers superb control. The tip is sharp, but soft so it's good for creating the wing-tips at the corner of your eyes. It creates very crisp, clean lines; the look I usually go for.

I drew on my usual wing-tipped style before I left for work and it lasted pretty much the whole day. Yes, some tiny parts did flake a little, but overall it still looked good and didn't need reapplying at all. I wore it from morning and removed it when I came home. It's definitely much better than a lot of other liquid eyeliners I've used. Still, I suppose I wouldn't recommend it to those with very oily lids.

Smudge-wise, it's pretty tough. This eyeliner doesn't give me racoon eyes at the end of the day.

One grudge I do have with this is that naming it Super Black can be a bit misleading as it's not majorly pigmented and definitely not super black. Yes, it's dark, but not as intensed as I'd expect it to be given the name. However, putting on a second layer does the trick.

1) Draw

2) Rinse

3) Rub vigorously under running water

  8. I'm a big fan of this brand for eyeliner...I like it that it has a brown option for liquid liner...Dolly Wink, a direct competitor is better in terms of longevity on your lids, but they don't have a brown liquid liner.

  11. That's awesome that it seems to work so well! I feel like so many companies claim their eyeliner is waterproof and doesn't smudge, but somehow they still manage to smudge and drip... it's annoying!

  12. I bought this before based on its claim and I personally do not like it. I found the tip too slim and not that type of style I was aiming for and it flakes on me yet difficult to remove at the end of the day. But then again, as of all products, what works well on others may not work well on you so I'm pretty much the unlucky few.

    How have you been?

  14. I bought this recently but haven't tried it myself yet. I don't really like that they claim to be waterproof when it's quite obvious it can be easily removed with water and some rubbing. This one seems like it is pretty on par with the Dolly Wink liner.

  15. Oh Joey, this was one of my favourite liners!! I'm glad that you had the chance to try it too. =) Unfortunately, my uber oily lids were too much for the "long lasting" claim on the package and towards the end of the day my liner has always rubbed off. My eyelids. >< Ew. Anyway, I hope you're doing well! ^__^ Thank you for the discount code!
